Jessica and Carlos 8.25.08

The first of two weddings for Jess and Carlos, the first ever for me! The Quintanillas had a civil ceremony on August 25th, and this is something I have never photographed before. It was definitely a new experience... I wish I could photograph weddings on Mondays all the time! I'll fill you in on their next, larger more traditional wedding which takes place next June.

Jessica is also writing a blog called "Any Language Love" detailing her wedding planning journey. The link is on the blog link list to the left. Enjoy!

Ashleigh and Ryan 8.23.08

I am so happy for Ashleigh and Ryan, they are such a great couple and it was a pleasure being a part of their amazing day.

Check out this handsome guy, he's too cute not to have his own private session!

The whole party had a coreographed party dance that was so great! Talk about having entertainment at your party :)

Brittany's H.S. Senior Photos

It's amazing what we can fit in 2.5 hours. We went to 3 locations, got at least 2 looks from each and changed outfits more than 4 times. We got a really diverse session and I couldn't be more pleased! This fisrt location is my FAVORITE! I love the colors that we found in these props, how they worked with the setting and her clothes. How perfect.

Jane and Scott 8.16.08

I'm not sure I've ever been to a more laid beack wedding! There were great beachy details, colors that gave this beach house a real resort feel. Everything went so smoothly and there were so many fun details to photograph that everywhere I turned there was something I hadn't noticed before.

Christi Fritz~ H.S. Senior Photos

I love how creative Christi is. She was so fun to photograph because she knows what she wants and how to pull it off. And how cool are the places she chose to visit for her shoot!

Nichole and Donnell 8.2.08

Lately I've been obsessed with ring shots.
When nothing else is going on, you'll find me crouched down exacting the rings over invitations, flowers and even your shoes. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have some fun with the camera ready kids at Nichole and Donnell's wedding!

Tom and Tina 7.26.08

This was such a fun wedding! So many suprises. Tina arrived in a white horse drawn carriage, butterlies were realeased, and there wasn't a dry eye in the audience!

Amy and Dave Dayton 7.11.08

This couple definitely knew how to show off their unique personality with the girls wearing converse, and goofy crashing their wedding!

Michelle and Rob 7.05.08

What a gorgeous couple on such a beautiful day!

It was so fun watching them dance, they really put on a show.

These two were no-stop party animals, the whole night they ripped up the dance floor!

Stephanie and Eric Prom 6.21.2008

I really like theses images from Steph and Eric's wedding... especially because the clouds look so cool. I know most people don't like rainy days, but I will risk the rain for overcast lighting and cool clouds like these any day!

Congrats Stephanie and Eric... Your wedding was a blast to be a part of!!!

My fave photos from a recent "Celebrate The Dress" session with MRS. Nicole Newberry.

I love these shoots. It's such a wonderful way to show off your dress with more time than we would have at your wedding. And in this case, I am in love with the veil!!! What a fabulous accessory to shoot with... especially in the wind!

Thank you Nicole!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 4.03.2008

I was deeply moved today watching thousands of men, woman, children and even their dogs coming together dressed in pink for a cause that has affected them all. They marched for their grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends... and even themselves to fight against, and bring awareness too, breast cancer. It was touching that so many gathered today with similar stories, victories and love for the women on their t-shirts! All wore the names (and even photos) of the women they walked for and it was a beautiful sight!
I am happy to have been a part of this event, and to have recorded this day forever within the images of the day.
The photos will be online where they can be printed off for free. I will give out the link as soon as it is available to me.

Dan, Lori, and Amanda 2007

Can you believe this was taken at Whitnall Park?! I love this rustic look and couldn't believe we found it here.
I was looking for a way to show off the fun playfulness of this session because I really liked this shot, but it looks so posed when it wasn't! Amanda did this all on her own... she's a littles genious. She kept running back and forth between me and her parents showing us the leaves she was finding, when she paused with this cute little smirk. I love it!

Thanks Amanda!

Amy and Jason 9.5 Weeks

Amy and Jason are expecting!
At 9.5 weeks just following their first ultrasound this is their first photo session in a series of about 8 or so. I'll be visiting and documenting their lives over the next few months, and in the end we'll create a storybook that brings their photos together with journal entries on the experience.

I love doing projects like this! This really is capturing life and telling a story.
I'll keep you posted!

Thank you to Amy and Jason, I'll be seeing you soon!
